Quick recap

Things that are good:

• Manchester United won -- albeit just barely;
  
• As did my own team, so we're through to the quarter-finals of our playoff tournament; and
  
• I'm off on vacation.

Things that are not so good:

• Liverpool drew with Portsmouth;
  
• And I've just realized it's a Champions League week. Bugger. This place had better have ESPN, that's all I'm saying.

Back next weekend, when you can look forward to me recapping the Women's World Cup quarter-finals, ranting about Portuguese teams being cheaters, and pondering the mysteries of Rafa Benitez's rotation policy.
